We are especially looking forward to hearing this years speakers like Ben Hewitt discuss how the local farm economy contributes so much to community sustainability. We have installed Farm PV systems since the 1980s’ and so see first hand the hard work and the heroes in the renaissance of the New England Farm. It should not surprise historians of the future that the new economy model, inspired by E.F. Schumakers’ works, was led by those producing our primary energy need, food. Author and environmental pioneer, Donella Meadows,had she lived to see the last decade would be so pleased with the progress.
