Attached is a graph showing the trend in average electricity prices (cents per kWh) in Massachusetts since 1990. The average annual price increase is 2.26% each year however some years have experienced volatile price swings with the greatest price increase happening from 2005-2006 (23.51%) and the greatest decrease happening from 2009-2010 (13.52%).
