On June 7th, Hoosac Valley High School students held a mock trial to discover the best source of electricity. Rebecca Knights, guest speaker, represented photovoltaic energy discussing the process, growing trends, and the immense benefits of implementation. Through cross examination on “trial” she made a case for solar power use versus fossil fuels, geothermal, and nuclear energy. This interactive presentation was an engaging way for students to learn about renewable energy.
