Here is the PDF link to the updated version of our “Clean Energy Stats” analysis. This analysis covers the average yearly electricity output from a nominal 1 kW solar PV system  for the last ten years including  2012 reports and then calculates the environmental benefits from the most recent complete data for the Western Massachusetts generation mix of emissions. Our 2011 statistics for comparison are available at the Clean Energy Stats  link on the left side of our home page . Grid supplied electricity is getting cleaner because of greater reliance on Natural Gas  rather than oil and coal… keep in mind  however the emissions data available does not take into account  Natural Gas (methane)  leakage from fracking and pipelines enroute to electric power plants , just emissions after combustion.
